"Vaughan's Anchor Inn Way out on the west Clare Coast amidst all of the
stunning scenery is the pretty fishing village of Liscannor, which nestles
between the famous Burren 8km, the equally famous wonder of the world the
Cliffs of Moher 3km and the golfers paradise of Lahinch 3km.
In Liscannor it is perhaps appropriate that you will find one of the best
seafood restaurants in Ireland "Vaughan's Anchor Inn". The Anchor Inn
is the sort of pub that people delight in visiting with the drums of salt
and tins of rice propping adding character and giving an idea of what
old Irish pubs were really like." [Lucinda O'Sullivan 2011]
The menu is heavily seafood based at both lunch and dinner using only
the best of Irish and local fish.
Salads, vegetables and herbs are grown in the Inns own garden to the rear.
Food is served daily from 12 - 9.30pm.
Bookings are taken on 065 7081548.
